Trader Publishing - InDesign Migration

Trader Publishing publishes over 70 titles ranging from Auto Trader, Bike Trader and Top Marques among its best know titles.

Tidalfire has worked with Trader Publishing from 2004 helping them to migrate production in around 15 sites to Adobe InDesign.

Tidalfire provided on-site training through its Adobe Certified Instructors as well as training material which was tailored to match the course and its content making it more relevant to the operators.

Three Mile Media - Electronic PDF Magazine

Three Mile Media use PDF to create an electronic magazine. This document is available via a web site but also can be used and distributed on CD.

The magazine shows how PDF documents can be created from any application, can support the addition of navigation and can deliver content in a compelling manner.

Ryden - Health and Safety Documentation

This document brings together Health and Safety information and building drawings within an easy-to-use and consistent interface.

The Health & Safety document was distributed on CD and allowed searching and printing of a wide variety of different sized drawings, product information and reports all assembled together using PDF from diverse sources and organisations.

General Register Office for Scotland - Electronic Training Application

GRO required the development of a training application which would provide users with a method of training on a new electronic form based system. To create the PDF application the forms were converted to PDF and PDF tools used to make the forms fill able. The forms incorporated an online Help mechanism that was used to guide and help users complete the forms correctly.

This was delivered as a CD based application. Original forms and content that was previously paper based was delivered electronically maintaining the look-and-feel of the original forms.
