Populating Lists with the Paste Option in Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES2

If you are interested in creating PDF eforms then Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES2 provides tools for the creation of dynamic interactive forms which can be distributed as either stand-alone PDF documents or as documents integrated into an Adobe LiveCycle process.

In Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES2 list boxes can either be populated manually or by using the option which allows pasting of tab delimited data from Excel or a text file.

If you choose to paste text, you place the text in a single column. If you want to paste a text and value pair, place the text in one column and the value in a second column. Always place the list items in the first column.

With the drop down list selected click the "Paste from Clipboard" icon located in the Field tab of the Object palette

If both a Text and Value have been pasted the data can be viewed under the Binding tab of the Object palette.
