Since being formed in March 2001 by a group of ex-Adobe Systems employees, Tidalfire has established a reputation for the provision of training and consulting services that are of the highest standards and appropriate to our clients’ requirements.
Today, Tidalfire is Scotland’s most dynamic training and consulting company specialising in print, web and electronic document solutions.
Tidalfire has built strong alliances with world-leading companies and by working closely with these partners we are able to assure you of the highest level of service and the latest in technology and software developments.
Our training staff and associates are certified in their respective area of expertise; indeed their skills are not only certificated they are also applied on a daily basis therefore teaching is from a basis of experience, not from theory.

Tidalfire offers a wide range of training courses delivered as open scheduled classes or closed, bespoke classes. All of these training events can be delivered at Tidalfire’s facilities in Edinburgh city centre, or on site at your facilities.
As an authorised partner to Adobe Tidalfire offers a wide range of application and technology courses from introductory through to advanced and certification level. All delegates have their own computer to work from and the maximum class size is eight. All attendees are provided with course notes, lunch, refreshments and post-course support.
Our closed courses are delivered on a company by company basis and designed to specifically address your requirements. Through consultation we agree the appropriate course content, providing you with the opportunity to determine the course agenda as well as the timing of delivery. Based around our unique partnership with the world's most respected software vendors and solution providers, Tidalfire provides consulting and solution services. These are supported by our group of accredited associates who provide a unique blend of knowledge and experience developed in providing solutions from SMEs to large corporate organisations.
Tidalfire is conveniently located on North St David Street in Edinburgh’s city centre – served by all major bus routes. The Waverley train station and main bus station are both within 10 minutes walk and there is a fantastic selection of hotels, bars and restaurants to suit everybody’s tastes and budget.
Our classroom and on-site training is not restricted to Scotland - whether your organisation is based in London, Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness - Tidalfire will be able to provide you with the training you require.
Tidalfire’s training rooms provide the latest in instructor-led training technologies with Internet access, interactive white boards and access to colour printers and scanners. All delegates work from their own computer running the latest software on Windows or Macintosh operating systems.
Tidalfire’s presentation room accommodates up to 30 seated theatre-style with a separate break out area for refreshments. This is used for events and seminars held in conjunction with our partner companies as well as Tidalfire’s own Open Evenings which are free events running throughout the year.
