Adobe Captivate 5 has been announced and provides some great new features for anyone looking to create elearning content with the usual easy to use Adobe UI. If you are looking to create software demonstrations, interactive simulations, branching scenarios and quizzes without programming then Captivate 5 should be on your list of applications to explore.
In addition to the software now being available on Mac OS the main features to excite Captivate users include:
- Redesigned interface
- Master slides
- Object styles
- Tracking & reporting enhancements
- Multivideo support
A full list of features is available in the Captivate 5 area of the Adobe website. The English language version is expected to ship by mid-June 2010.
Look out for upgrade training for existing users and a new Captivate 5 course from Tidalfire once the software ships.
