Our very own polar explorer and Managing Director, Louise Scott, is displaying photographs from a selection of her fantastic arctic expeditions to Greenland in the WoO ( Window of Opportunity) until the 5th March 2012. A selection can be seen at Arctic Photographs.
Between 2000 and 2009 Louise made seven trips to Arctic Greenland to test her mettle in various sporting and expedition activities and these are displayed to great effect in the WoO window.
Louise has presented to a variety of groups on her experiences, demonstrating what can be achieved when you have a dream, desire and passion for a subject. Louise will be in and around the office and will be more than happy to have a chat about her trips and experiences.
If you would like to display in WoO come in and say hello. The idea has already reached the other side of the world following a visitor walking past last summer!!
WoO was born out of the fact Tidalfire had an empty window space and the suggestion to give the window over to local artists met with our philanthropic values.
